My Story... I am a guy from Cleveland, Ohio originally, but I have now lived about half of my life in Oregon. I am an associate professor and librarian at Southern Oregon University. I teach because I love to learn. I love to laugh, enjoy like, take risks within reason--not an X-game guy. Learning is the essence of experience, so every moment is chance to relish something new. What we know means so little compared to all that there is to know. Respect is the ultimate virtue.
People I Like... People who are courteous, thoughtful, contemplative, fun, have a sense of humor, who prefer to laugh, who are positive, who love to learn, who look at life as an opportunity and a gift, who are playful, and ultimately have respect for others, themselves, and all things.
I know they are not people but I really love big fluffy Samoyed dogs because they have great smile and are fluffy and cuddly. Well, actually, a little Samoyed pup would be cool too! or a panda bear! |
